Fragile Thoughts Poem by Frederick Nellist

Fragile Thoughts

Broken dreams, scattered pieces
Tears won't cement them whole
Reality is the giver of pain
Nocturnal visions beyond control
When painting with your minds eye
Have a care, don't aim too high.

Fragile hopes create life's stage
Emotional promises cloud the mind
Dreams, the conveyer of heart ache
Eager conscience is ever inclined
Dreams can fly at a bink of an eye
Time for you to ask yourself why.
