Fragmentation Poem by Heather Owens

Fragmentation

Truth be treason
in such empty lines
Full of hope blown up
The balloon popped
Splattered on the ground
Bled through straight
The cross-stitch fades
Entered the madness
Shaken with empathy
Sown up the chasm
Thread stretched taunt
Began upon the ending
