Frantic Silence Poem by Matthew Jelly

Frantic Silence

Like a fly buzzing past my ear...
Nullifying the nothing I want to hear...
Terrorizing my mind with no sight too sound...
It seems hopeless it will ever be found...
Close my eyes and visualize the sea...
That buzzing seems to stem from me...
Seek the place the buzzing fears...
Yet,
Sleep does not venture here.
