I feel like the days are ticking away
And we never had a chance
She always had to take you from me
and you followed her
Don't you know how much it hurts?
Don't you know how much I've tried?
I'd give up anything for you
you know it'll never last with her
but then again will it with me?
I wait for your reaction
will you take an action?
Or will you leave me here alone to cry?
When did i get put in this agonizing trance
And you close your eyes
you don't love me
and my heart silently agrees
I think back and try to remember how we were
And how often we used to flirt
that was before she came
And every day i wish she'd leave
leave you with me
leave us be
I sit here waiting, hopeing the hurt will subside
leaving me in piece
All alone
My thoughts are down hill
will i still love you when i see you again
Why? i ask.
Why? I scream, my voice shrill
When will I stop hurting?
When will I let you go
I guess it's my fault i hurt so
I guess it's my fault you don't
I guess I'll never know
I lie here
Dying
I'm dead inside
I'm but a shell of who i once was
Sweet and innocent
but now I'm bitter and cold
I beg of you of me let me go
You can't be that man I adored
Well I don't know him any more
your a little late
I should have seen what was there
and not some horny lie
I'm all outof faith
the illousion never changed
Into something real
Nothing's right
Cold and Bitter
another will come
And he'll set me free
Then what will you do
will I be released?
Will i finaly be free
free of the chains you hold me with?
I may never know
I doubt another will come
I'm all out of luck
and I'm lieing on the floor
will you get me out of here?
