Did you think you could hold me back?
Did you think that I would never pull away?
I guess you thought you would always control my life,
You thought,
You thought wrong,
'Cause I've proved you wrong again.

I am free,
Free to live my life,
I will never go back to where I was,
I am here,
Where I'm supposed to be,
Can you see me now?
See what I've become,
I am free.

You thought I would always stay,
You made me feel so weak and small,
But in my heart I always knew I would go somewhere,
I showed,
I showed you,
And I'm never going to change.

I am free,
Free to live my life,
I will never go back to where I was,
I am here,
Where I'm supposed to be,
Can you see me now?
See what I've become,
I am free.

Free,
Free to live,
And be myself,
Can you see me?
And who I've become?
I have found me,
I am living my life,
And showing you.

I am free,
Free to live my life,
I will never go back to where I was,
'Cause I felt so alone,
And so abandoned,
I had to leave,
And find myself,
Look at me now,
I am here,
Where I'm suppose to be,
Can you see me now?
See what I've become,
I am free,
I am completely free.
