Free-Soul Poem by chettur aishwarya shrivastav

Free-Soul

sometimes i get haunted by things i made,
those memories of lightning spark and dust shade,
but still my spirit owns the pride,
i let my face feel the wind,

choice was mine whether to hide,
but i chose to brighten the fading light,
walking midst of speed,
yet alone in world's street,

hope is wake in my eyes,
i am not afraid of told lies,
i am not made for cries,
my flight is with butterflies,

my mistakes i will mend,
there is no need to pretend,
i can't wait to see the days ahead,
but neither i want them to fill so fast, as i said,

i will never slow down,
i will not wear frown,
we are forced to sink or swim,
why we dress ourselves in grim?

i can't ignore the feelings that once were,
but i can rather let go and remember,
as it is said- the more you know,
the more you grow,

if life will be smooth and clear,
where we'll seek excitement of fear,
it is easy to get out,
stand tough, saty on ur ground,

there are shadows and false illusions,
woven in beautiful oblivion,
chase ur dreams and raise high,
raise through stars up in sky,

friends will break,
hearts will break,
in this world of hate,
all that will count is how much love could you make! ! !
