The rules of religion
Once forced upon me
It turned into superstition
Faith suddenly ceased
The course I’ve sailed
was a journey within
And though I’ve failed
It felt like I was living
In despair I’d pray
Words reached the divine
The voice would say
You will be just fine
Now I realize…
Free will was absent
God would look away
It should be a present
Within a golden frame
