Freed Poem by Paula A. Vaughn

Freed

Christ came to set the captives free,
He died on the cross on a hill called Calvary.
When He said "It is finished," the work was done,
The bonds were broken and victory was won.
Christ ascended to the Father and the Comforter sent He,
To live in the hearts of you and me.
When days are long and there seems no end,
Remember the One who died for our sin.
