Freedom Poem by MICHAEL VILANOVA

Freedom

So today we celebrate our freedom
Ocassion based on our nations wisdoms
Tanks airplanes and troops walking flanks
On seas and sands who do we give our thanks
Destruction and flagged covered young men souls
Are we supposeto forget the mounting death tolls
Young women are even standing on the battle fields
As we fire fireworks to celebrate thier great yields
Rightously we stand before the nations of this world
Eager to claim freedom but forget the souls of our men and girls
Wars won and lost on battle fields of death
Each one we claim victory as fireworks makes us hold our breathe
Fire from the mozzle to the sparks in the sky
Roaring of the tanks crowds cheering not really knowing why
Each year on july fourth we celebrate our freedom
Even as another solider falls as we celebrate our nations wisdom
