Freedom Of Truth Poem by douglas lewis

Freedom Of Truth

Birds are not for houses,
Their wings are not for rooms.
Their calls are not for telephones,
Their feathers not for brooms.
The bird is for the freedom
That spacious skies provide,
The place to truly open up
With nothing else to hide.
