Freeing Dreams Poem by Slim Jim

My life's a high speed chase
I'm never going to win the race
Every where I go, every day every place
This time clock keeps ticking in my face
Everything I am, everything I fear
Destroying my life, unwanted news I'm forced to hear
This life is moving by too fast
So I grab everything I cherish, as rest flies past
As I go down the one way road with it on a bicycle rack
A voice reminds me I can never turn back
So I am who I want to be
And I let every other dream run free.
