French Lesson: Gilet Jaune

From recent protest,
French for 'yellow vest'
is 'gilet jaune'.

Un gilet de corps
is a singlet.

Un slip is briefs.

'I wear two pieces of underwear'
is 'je mets deux dessous'.

'Un rire jaune' is 'a sickly smile'.

'Pour rire' is 'for fun'.

'de corps' is 'on the body'.

'un' is also 'one'.
