Friendly People Poem by edgar bonette clar

Friendly People

I hate friendly people
for they give me no rest,
Questions they are so full,
think themselves very best.

I hate friendly people
for they are unlike me;
Questions they are so full,
And I'm no longer free.

I hate friendly people
for I just want to be;
Like them, friendly people,
who always smiles my way.

I hate friendly people
for I just could not be;
just like other people,
can't smile on other's way.
