Friends Poem by Laureen Rivera

Friends

As we come together as years go on,
We learn to develop a much greater bond
Those sincere and close to my heart,
Will be a part of me forever, until we depart
Friendships that are true will last an eternity
And those with flaws will go unnoticed
As life goes on we learn from our mistakes,
We develop new patterns and put it to the race
I could never imagine what life has in store,
For me for anyone as this life goes on
We think of our past present and future,
All the friends we had and the ones still with us
Those who lingered and grew with us at heart
Were those that were sincere and we could never depart.
Those are true Friends
