When the world around you turns harsh and all your dreams seem shattered
there'll always be a hand to help no matter how bad your battered
Through the sorrow and the pain true friends shine through the rain
their the shelter from the storm when all feels so sad

When you have no where else to turn a true friend is always there
they make you see the good
make you laugh till your sides hurt
They carry you from the depths below and make you feel alive

Through thick and thin, far and near
true friends shall never fade
I cherish my best friend and tell her everyday.
Dont let time pass you by without a kind word spoken
make sure your best friend knows they are loved
dont let that bond be broken.
