Friends Forever Poem by B ann Burton

Friends Forever

Rating: 5.0

Friends forever
We all say that together
We have tons of laughter
Whenever we're with each other

The first time we met
Is my best experience yet
How can I forget?
Our friendship's the thing no one can get

You're my unbiological sister
Sometimes scolds like mother
And protects like a father
But you loved me like no other

We may firth often
But we'll never be broken
We're forever friends
Until infinity ends

Beautiful depiction of essence of friendship, well articulated and nicely penned in poetic diction with lovely rhyme scheme. An insightful piece of poetry written from the heart with conviction. A true friend is almost the equal of loving happy family, a rear gem to reckon with through thick and thin, in sunny days and rainy ones. Thanks for sharing Burton.
