Friends Forever Covenant - Poem by Frederick Kesner

`

Friends have their humble beginnings
And sometimes friendships have their end.
Let us build a world of meaning;
Together seek each rainbow's end.

We're meant to always be happy
And to be sad for but a while;
We are meant to share God's glory
And to live-out life with a smile.

You'd never need to outgrow me
Or to leave our friendship behind.
I pray there be new beginnings:
A deeper love each day to find.

    Yes dear friend..it was your title that lured me here
    Lonesome as some day tend to be....
    And heart to friends does wish to turn
    Who perhaps in haste of work and daily pressure
    We left untended dear, with love to treasure

    Thank you Frederick, I will most certainly do so.
    I have found a kindred spirit in you. Your poetry
    is purely and simply among the brightest hopes
    I have seen. You are going on my list and if your others
    are as good as this one, I'll have something to look forward
    to. Avery fine job. What a poem should be.
