Friendship Poem by Debbie Smith

You'll always be a friend, and a special one at that
I can always rely upon you, to take my coat and hat
Sit me down and hear me, I like our little chats

I care for you and love you, I'm happy that your mine
I hope this friendship lasts forever over time

But, I have to say this to you, because if I don't I'll just explode

My friendship for you is much more than that,
I really believe I care,
I want much more than we can give, which I find unfair

For now, I'll be happy
As a friend you'll have to be
But, remember what I've said to you, and have a liitle think

As much as I am here for you, I want you more and more
I hope you feel the same way too, so our friendship we can explore.
