A word where we all stand side by side
Where we don’t change with the moon and tide
Its where for someone else, you make a sacrifice
When you listen and give appropriate advice
Sometimes without even listening we understand
Anyone can join no one is left out or banned
If it is strong it won’t easily wear and tear
To find a true friendship it is quite rare
Whenever someone requires your aid
Lend a hand, help them out, and don’t be afraid
A true friend will bring out the real you
That companion may never really say adieu
With laughs, tears and sorrows it grows
When it happens to you don’t let go
For this word no definition is precise
Friendship, all this comes without a price
