you held the pain so close to you,
never let your grip falter in fear of expression
you didn't speak to anyone
except through the pen you slid across the page
and the metal you slid across your skin
and the blood that graced the bath
I wanted to ask you
why did you do this,
not tell anyone, ruin my life as well as end your own
wasn't there another way out
you've left me here all alone
this is too much for me to carry

I said I'd follow you forever
so look at what I'm left with
the belief I meant nothing to you
what we had was really nothing to you
so now this bullet is nothing to me
