Fringe Dweller Poem by Francis Duggan

Fringe Dweller

He is one of those who does not socialize
Yet he is a man in his own ways quite wise
Yet some who know ofhim say he is strange in his way
The tribeless are fringe dwellers in the Human World of today
Yet he is one who does sow karma's good seed
He never turns his back on those of help in need
He performs a good deed every day sometimes even two
Yet he never expects praise or money for the good things he do
One never seen socializing at the town's sports club
Or having a beer as many do with their mates at the local pub
The praises of self or others he never does sing
He lives in his own way and does his own thing
Some of the local tribal see him as strange but despite of him what they does say
He is generous and kind in his own unselfish way.
