From Epitome To Epiphany And Beyond Poem by James Darwin Smith II

From Epitome To Epiphany And Beyond

She is locked, boxed
Spinning around and around
Nowhere to go
But in the darkened exiled
Stuck, in a reclusive destiny
Mourning for the day
Her soul was free
Flying high
To the great beyond

Yearning she is
For the sounds of grace
Music so exhilarating
To her eternal heart
Made of passion's
Fiery pleasures
Flames of grace
Lit in the name of love
The kind that is always
Forever and beyond

Exiled, trapped in the dark

Hope lost
Searching for something
To give her heart
At least a tiniest of spark
So she can take it all in
Never taking
Anything for granted again

What did she ever do?
Many have done so much worse
So trusting at one time
Would give her heart
Without seeing every pitchfork
Pierce it beyond repair

There are those in her life
With the best of intentions
Yet, she only saw what was outward
Never seeing what is inside
Everyone and all
But she has learned her lesson
And still it keeps going from bad
To worse
Cursed by the day
Blindly gave away her heart
Spinning and spinning
Off key
This once proud rhapsody
Now an eternal dirge
Thick of so much remorse

Ethereal travesty
Full of broken hope
Still she keeps playing
Searching for the day
She can truly learn to love

Her dreams
Still hold light
Hoping to escape from the dark

She is so flawed
But that is what makes her
More beautiful than
She has ever been before

Still spinning
Still locked
Searching for the day
She can finally fly away
Into destinies
She never knew existed
Full of true unconditional love

I love her

I just know
She will escape her own prison
As vanity fades away

In her journey
I have faith

All in all
After all
She is
The epitome

The epitome of love
Soon forever more

Beyond the skies
Space and stars
The epitome of love

Be brave
Never look back

You are love
The chosen one

Soon you will forever be known
Only as epiphany
The true mother of all love

Epiphany, give us all hope
Queen of the truest kind of love

The epitome of an epiphany
The glorious mother of love

I will always be forever yours
My greatest beyond
The source of all things
Made from love

From epitome to epiphany
All the way to always
Towards the great beyond
Forever full of love

Wonderful poem James...the imagery throughout is thought provoking. I particularly like the pitchfork metaphor!
