From Here To Eternity - Poem by Leaking Pen
Where do I go from here love?
When I cannot share all of you.
The heaven skies cannot cry anymore,
My lament factories have closed down
their doors permanently.
Is this the end of my romance love?
Is this the end of my poetic love?
No love do not be mislead,
a content heart dwells in
the house of no burden.
How can I invent new meanings?
When meanings fall short on
their promise to deliver.
How can I express my feelings?
When my feelings are at full stop.
Phantom dreams are a rising fog
evaporate when the Sun appears.
This is my journey to nowhere
When I cannot find my way
to your hidden trails love.
Like those before me who are gone
so shall I do the same.
It's my time to end my time.
Time stood still when my happiness
was locked inside a jar.
When two souls destined to be together,
Death with life does not compete.
I was dead before I met you,
You gave me life and its universe
Now that you are gone,
I court death for the last time.
