From Peripheral To Purpose Poem by J.C. Masa

From Peripheral To Purpose

You were just a shadow in my peripheral vision,
Never thought you'd become my full attention.
You lift me up without the need for elevation,
And now I know the feeling of pure adoration.

I want to build love, not attachment—
Something unconditional, free from distractions.
I've already found my foundation,
one of God's beautiful creations.

I hope you'll be the romantic
In my hopeless romantic life.
I still remember the first time
I laid my eyes on you—it was a vibe.
Since then, I've never felt more alive.
