From The Ancient Glaciers Poem by Mohammad Younus

From The Ancient Glaciers

From the ancient glaciers, where the earth's breath is cold,
The river awakens, its crystal waters bold.
It winds through valleys, kissed by verdant meadows' grace,
Each ripple a story, time's gentle embrace.
The river flows onward, its path never the same,
Yet each drop of water, recounts eternity's name.

From the waters did we emerge, and—
as water blossoms we were born,
And to water we shall sail—
As everything returns to its original source.
In the dance of the seasons, in the rhythm of the tides,
The journey of life flows—where the heart abides.

Yet in the silence beneath the vast, endless sea,
Where the stillness holds secrets that the eye cannot see,
The tale does not end, nor does it cease,
For in the depths, the story begins anew—
A cycle unbroken, an eternal release.

In the quiet of the waters, beneath waves of old,
The river's voice whispers the truths untold.
It speaks of beginnings, and endings too,
Of all that was, and all that will be, true.
For verily in the sea's silent embrace,
Every river holds the seed of new face.
