Frown - Poem by Emily Michele

Finally I accept my faults
accept my blessings.
Know my truth
no matter how heart breaking.
Follow the wind
even in a storm.
Create my own destiny
searching for something more.
Let life hurt me
more than it already has.
Let dreams make me
Better than who I was in the past.
Let them love me
even when I don’t.
Let them hug me, even when I won’t.
Break my walls, let them tumble down
because life isn’t well lived covered with a frown.

true acceptance is the key to change because what we are today does not mean tomorrow we will be the same but how we prepare oursevles today determines what we will be tomorrow (Report) Reply
