Fruit Poem by Rivi Rose

Fruit

I ate the fruit that I could reach
But you were unable or
Unwilling to shake more to the ground
So I tried climbing your trunk
Addicted to the sweet taste of
Adoration
It was too slippery, so now I sit
In your shade
Waiting for your fruit to ripen and fall
So I can taste it again
