Fruiteating Mosquitoes Poem by Saiom Shriver

Fruiteating Mosquitoes

Three quarters of mosquito species
use a proboscis acute
to suck juice
out of fruit.
When human blood
is sucked by mosquitoes
they reduce cholesterol
and calories
and increase blood flow.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Admittedly this is not a popular point of view.

Are mosquitoes included in 'first do no harm'? Do the malaria and dengue fever
they transmit as middlewomen from other sources justify smashing them into
extinction?

Clare W was nursing her child. when a mosquito landed on her arm she thought
'she can nurse too'.

Magazine and network media have promoted the dangerous genetic modification of
mosquitoes being done in Australia and in Brazil. Would such
modification affect every reptile, bird, mamal or human injected with mosquito anticoagulants?

The Saint of Shirdi said 'Never harm a snake or a scorpion. He will only harm
you if ordered to do so by God. If so ordered, there is nothing you can do about
it.'
