Be thankful for your great sense of humour
Cos who is laughing at who now
When the hysteria stops whistling through streets
And the ultimate in comedy is found
The tables have turned a little
The little worm he took a small bow
The smile is on one side of a face
The other side has a slight crooked frown
You laughed in the face of danger
You chuckled when others were down
I can't quite see that smirk now
Has it upped and left this quarrelsome town
You lied when you hoped no one noticed
You came with gifts and a rope
You even helped when tying the knot
Then hoped and prayed I'd not cope
But I'm laughing now, yes I am
I'm gracious watching your descent
Sadly you see not the wishes
In which happiness was all that was meant
