Along this ayre, or shingle beach
Nest oystercatchers or redshank,
Artic tern, ringplover too.
To help then all, we ask that you
Don't walk along the top of the ayre.
Below the waterline go with care
A quick pass, please do your best
Don't keep the adults off the nest.
Dogs moving fast, on their feet
Can be a threat to chick and egg
At the far end of the shore from here
Another notice to show you're clear.
Thanks for reading these few words
A BIG THANK YOU from all the birds.
