Wedding Of Sue And Adrian By Victoria Howells Poem by A.M. Street

Wedding Of Sue And Adrian By Victoria Howells

Let's raise a glass to Adrian and Sue,
On this their wedding day,
And remind them of some special rules,
To send them on their way.

Rule 1 is marriage is give and take,
And sharing each others passions,
That means: cricket, football and Rick Wakeman,
And Saturday night Strictly fashions!

Rule 2 is spoil your children,
who never cause you strife,
With 4 wonderful daughters between you
It's a recipe for the perfect life.

Rule 3 is all about food
For we know Sue can cook grand,
Adrian was lucky to have his life intact,
When he called her curry bland!

Rule 4 relates to the garden
Working hard is what they do,
Even if it means separate flower beds,
Bet we can guess whose is who.

Rule 5 is enjoy your travels,
Whether UK or overseas,
So many places to explore,
With Australia eager to please.

So that ends our lesson on the rules,
And how to have the perfect life,
As long as it's Jaffa cakes morning, noon and night
You'll be very happy as husband and wife.
