Garden Of Love Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Garden Of Love

Life's a garden, bright and grand,
Needs a love to understand.
Happy days and riches deep,
Secrets that our hearts do keep.

But love's not one small, simple tune,
Shining like a single moon.
If we look with clearer sight,
We might see a different light.

Family love, a sturdy tree,
Grown from roots for you and me.
Born with them, no choice in hand,
Bound by blood in every land.

This love's for keeping safe and warm,
Shelter from the passing storm.
Deep and steady, night or day,
It's there and always lights our way.

Partner love, a chosen quest,
Putting hearts to daily tests.
A conscious step, a whispered vow,
Choosing good, again right now.

This love has fire, a burning spark,
Passion dancing in the dark.
Attraction's pull, a tender hold,
A beautiful story will unfold.

So love's a tapestry, so vast,
From our first breath, until the last.
Different threads, a woven art,
Each one plays a vital part.
