Garden Of Memories Poem by Bismark Sosu

Garden Of Memories

Rating: 3.5

I once strolled the path of love…... several years ago when I first opened my love chapters.
It was my first time and from deep within, I prayed it'll be my last.
Tears prove blinding but love has proven much worse.
There is the fear of loving you, but the pain of letting go lingers strong.
Time into time, my heart wandered into the deepest of forests, roamed the thickest of darkness; searching for that which makes me whole.
I journeyed from coast to coast-but in love, I found no rest. My heart is heavy; my soul is burdened at the fate of two hearts being parted at the twist of fate.
It's hard to grasp the fact that our lives are bound to travel different paths, but through it all, we can only hope our roads would meet again.
