There's a quiet secluded corner
In the garden of my mind
Into which I've never been
As an unexplored surprise.
A sheltered valley, strewn
with wild wind-flowers
and elegant poppies
Swaying in the grass
A Scented breeze
Carrying my joyful song
To mingle with the thrum
As the bumble-bees hum
And the humming-birds hover
Flitting... from flower to flower.
A secret secret pond
A single raindrop - plop
A froggy hops
A butterfly lands gently
As lips tenderly meet
On a park bench
In the lamplight
On an almost full moon.
