Gardens On Display Poem by Marilyn Lott

Gardens On Display

There’s a special garden festival
You might just want to view
Oh, the flowers are so amazing
You’ll want to own them too

Yellow flowers winding ‘round
A simple copper rod
Erected from a copper pot
In water or in sod

Why they even used artichokes
Now, how creative is that?
And I have no doubt these people
Could put flowers in a hat

And the cactus, oh the cactus
So many kinds you know
Of course they’re a bit prickly
But they put on quite a show

So next time be sure and join us
When they have a garden festival
I’ll let you know the time
Be sure to come if you are able!
