Gazing At The World Poem by Gregory Barber

Gazing At The World

I sit there,
Gazing at the world.
I see quarrels for nothing,
And words for foes.
For the sake of humanity,
The people who stood up,
Sitting down.
Everything was falling
and creating,
a great bump on the ground.
innocence was ending,
evilness was increasing.
But also there was a small streak of hope,
So I waited for someone
To hold it high,
But no one did,
So I came down,
That streak was my destiny to rise,
And another streak is yours.

But also there was a small streak of hope Let's hope that that small ray of hope brings something good for his ole world.
