I can't believe
what I let them get away with
it all started with her
blackmail and manipulation
but I let her get away with it all

then he came along
and we spent time together
but it didn't last
insults and excuses
but I let him get away with it all

you and I are so close
and I hated you this morning
now I love you again
ignoring, not caring
but I let you get away with it all

when you hurt me
I just let it go
but then it's like salt in my wounds
when you haven't been told
not to say it again
not to do it again
you hurt me again and again

but I guess I don't tell you
because I love you
and I don't want to realize
that you hurt me again and again
