Getting Into The Writing Zone! Poem by Denis Martindale

Getting into the writing zone could be a piece of cake!
Computer on! Now quite alone! No need to take a break!
Just choose the font! Select the size! With bold text coloured black!
The time has come to realise what gets me back on track!

I type away and check each word and edit here and there,
Discovering what has occurred, then taking extra care.
Still heading on, in search of rhyme, more ideas to express!
Because through all such extra time come phrases meant to bless.

My final verse has come so fast, and what a joy to see!
When my last line has come, at last, I visit Grammarly!
I know that I must change some stuff while keeping what I meant.
I hope and pray I do enough to make me feel content!

All the lines get copied quickly. I exit, and I save.
I share my brand new poetry as soon as I feel brave!
Who knows what other people think? Who knows if good or bad?
