Getting To Know You Poem by Ray Hansell

Getting To Know You

An hour conversation
Talking back and forth
Each one sharing
Their own personal thoughts

So much to tell each other
So much we want to say
We could probably talk for
All twenty four hours in a day

There are miles between us
But the phone closes the distance
By talking on the phone
It's the path of least resistance
