Gift Unto Me Poem by Kay SevignyPfeiff

Gift Unto Me

Rating: 5.0

Turn upon me your piercing gaze
That which slices through the space between us
Which pins me in place awaiting your will
Penetrating my membrane of fortitude
I will dance in the flame’s flickering light
I will twist into your vision’s delight
I will morph seamlessly from the Goddess, to the servant, to the wanton sprite

Grant unto me just one word
That which coats me in languorous warmth
Which awakens my body to the prospect of pleasing you
Grounding me in willing servitude
I will bend to your spoken desire
I will tend the flames of your inner fire
I will offer my power, my strength, my will upon the pyre

Lay upon me your calloused hand
That which grazes over my tender skin
Which bears me aloft tumultuous tides of exhilaration
Shocking me back to this world at your wish
I will kiss your palm in reverence
I will receive your will with deference
I will venerate each touch, each grasp, each strike with thankful acquiescence

Gift unto me your delicate, fragile heart
That which with each weft and warp weaves softly through my world
Which wraps around my needs like a silken shawl
Tending to my being in its entirety
I will nourish you with the love in my gaze
I will stand guard with sword in perpetual blaze
I will love you, my Lord, for the rest of my days
