Gist Of Love Poem by Cecil Mae Elemino

Gist Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Dazzling the marvels of the break of day
Wondrous portraits come along and stay
To reckon what bechance your day with me
This gist of love, brings great passion to me.

Never had I rendered as better half
In a blunt shadows of love I could have
I stargazed this man as a mounting dove
But my dear God, please light unto his path!

I do regard with affection and trust
More than a lot for this person so much
I forebode him, an unkeep man I hast
Pardon me if I am being unjust.

Now the moment of fruition has come
Life of canvas has only just began
I will fancy him as long as I can
At last! Gist of love was made for my man.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is of great significance to me way back August 2012. Because on this day, I have realized how much I really loved that man even though he doesn't know. I have waited for this man for almost 2 years and because of this poem of mine I was able to gain all the courage to tell him how much I loved him. He is very kind and good that he inspired me all throughout those years. But just this year, I already had accepted that we can only be friends and gladly someone came into my life and made me feel how wonderful it would to be loved as well not just to love. Anyway, the first man was really my inspiration in writing this letter.

It's a kind of poem that after reading, you've got to pause for a while and think of your first love, think of your first heartbreak and think of how you've fallen inlove. At the end, you've got to tell yourself, is the author talking about my life? .. PS. To the author, continue writing! ! ! !
