I Miss Her Poem by Cecil Mae Elemino

I Miss Her

Rating: 4.0

Reminiscing the days of no worries
Fun and excitement are all she carries
She used to wake up each day full of bliss
Oh, work and friends! She doesn't want to miss!

She is a woman with optimism
Has good reaction to criticism
As she works full of enthusiasm
She excels, used to be envied by them

But things have changed with her as years go by
Her journey in life, up and down, hello and goodbye
I can see as I look into her eye
She turned into a stranger, not a lie

No one to blame for what happened to her
Coz I know, in time, she will get better
As I say this to my old self, it's clear
Want to go back to her, coz, I miss her
