Give me a reason
Why? after drafting
this suicide note
I should burn it.
Give me a reason
tell me what's there
for me, to live for.
Give me a reason
Why? I should jump
into my bed tonight
and slide between
my sheet and blanket
and let them bring warmth
over my body,
In such a way
that sleep comes
like a thief that it is
only to steal my today
and take me to my tomorrow
Give me a reason
As I point the gun
straight to my brain
Where all the pain and suffering
is buried within
Give me a reason
why? I should not blow up
my brains and end my suffering
Give me a reason
Why? after being a closet prisoner
all my life.
I deserve freedom don't I?
Tell me why I should not
set myself free?
