Give Me Your Heart - Poem by Andra Wadas

He has asked for a gift
only u can give
You on bended knee
heart given to him
as you know how much you care
eyes glaze over
going into a stare
this is a gift
you can give to him
without a second thought
everyone wins
feeling of the blade
slicing through your skin
tears start falling
mixing with the blood
as it starts to drip
so carefully carving a hole
for the organ to be exposed
he so desires whats within
what should only beat for him
feeling and hearing
the cracking of bone
breaking through your chest
trying to get inside
to the heart below
finally after awhile it's finally there
reaching within using your own hand
pulling out your source of life
falling to your knees
doing what he has asked to see
dropping your heart
as it spatters to the floor
blood spashing all around
he reaches down
picking up what you dropped
trying to return it
to your exposed cavern
as he replies
I didn't mean it literally
