Given Time To Dream Of The Silence



GIVEN TIME TO DREAM OF THE SILENCE

Given time to dream of the silence
I sit in the sun
And write for myself
The first words of the day.

How long has it been?
How many years?
How many of these ‘first words of the day? '

One day, perhaps soon, they will not be-

Write slowly the last lines and savor them.
