Golden clouds basking in the sun's light
Hovering above the dreams of the world
I have not known how to defer this pain
I have not known the right way to shed shame
All these bright hallows smothering this death
The death of our rumbling minds
Trying to find the right way to simply live
And we figure this is what is best
Living in all this stress and ignoring the press
We ignore those broken homes we ignore our childhood dreams
We don’t give up we go on and swim into the deep
This life was just too much for me
I was the one who jumped
I was the one who pulled the trigger
I was the one who lay down and I was tired of the fight
All of this… the world… it brought me down
And now … now I lay underground
