Glass Darkly Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

Glass Darkly

The glass darkly measures the face of criticism,
Indicted by only the color it represents
Manifested by months of neglect,
Public image clear, not transparent
Battle scars affording an awkward advantage,
Micromanagement sucking the life out of this human device
Arranged perfection is found wanting,
Hypnotized by itinerancy, yet cannot move away from the table
No esprit de corps here,
Just a glass darkly
