Glass Lifeboat

Rating: 5.0

Failure and fallacy,
has sent too much
that's bad to me.
Headache slowly
drowning me.
Oceans deep,
no self-esteem.

Expectations,
cultural norms.
If life is weather,
I'm the storms.

Never settled,
never clam.
I feel no happiness,
cause only harm.

More than a crack
in my lifeboat of glass.
In a stormy ocean
I sink too fast.

stanza 3: I think you meant 'calm'. ha ha. 'cause only harm.' Are you saying the speaker only causes harm? ?
