Gliding Through The Sound Waves Poem by Mohammad Younus

Gliding Through The Sound Waves

Gliding through the sound waves,
Like a fish through deep waters,
Gentle ripples in the sea of sound grow,
Music emerging from the source divine.
A lulling sound, melodious and resonant,
Within and without,
Barely audible to those not present
With an awakened soul.

Waking from slumber,
Rustling sounds from the chinar forest,
Birdsongs echo merrily nearby,
As the sun rises bright from the horizon.
Hidden secrets unfold to the divine viewer,
Perfect enlightenment will arrive,
And delusion will fade away,
Leaving forgotten the tales
Of illusions and superstitions once told.
