Glory Poem by R.Benjamin Abate

Glory

Rating: 5.0

Onomatopeia-
Gentlly kiss a freesia-
Ah-
Completely free your
Skeptic soul-
Whoa-
Don't trap yourself in a bubble-
'Pop'
or bury yourself like Napoleon did-

In a pit, where one must bow
Down to see him-

You did not rid yourself
of all your glory-

We must realize
That in between dreams
Glory is all we can see
or so it seems
So it seems

Well there's a new word I had to look up, I slightly mystifying read which I find challenging but rewarding, with a haunting and melancholic closing.
